MaGGiE's is an all natural, from scratch kitchen using local & organic ingredients whenever possible. We strive to use only seasonal produce for optimal taste and freshness. Our menu changes throughout the months of the year. For example, the ingredients in our frittata and lasagna changes with the seasons. It may be fresh spring asparagus, summertime heirloom tomatoes, a fall swiss chard or wintertime butternut squash. Your tastebuds will appreciate the freshness of the harvest sourced from Nebraska family farms.
Some of our suppliers include: Common Good Farm in Raymond, Branched Oak Farm in Raymond, Karstens Vegetable Farm in Prague, Shadow Brook Farm in Denton, Harvest Home in Waverly, CROPS -Community Gardens of Lincoln, Wise Oven Bakery in Havelock and many other vendors at our farmer's markets. We know the people who grow the food we serve and its within a 50 mile radius of our cafe. Come see their pictures on the farmer wall of fame.
Our vegan muffins, scones and cookies are made in-house with certified organic ingredients. There are over 50 muffin varieties in rotation, from the ever popular organic banana nut to the more exotic bee pollen. We are constantly creating new flavors so there is always something different to try. Gina bakes them fresh every morning, ready to serve at 8:00 am! Our coffee is local and micro-roasted by Jon at Cultiva Coffee and is certified fair trade organic.
